When Work Becomes Form

Force, material and form are all negotiated and square steel is bent, turned and distorted by hand in a red-hot state. The result is a series of 12 structural variations on which door handles made of soft plastic, work gloves and cloths are placed. The works are being created for an exhibition in a former coal-fired power station as a post-industrial multifunctional public building with an exhibition space, a theatre and a fitness studio.
